My 2 little ones arrived today as well! Just a question for those who have received theirs - on Rubarb, does yours have a dark line that goes from the eye to the nose? and is it on both sides? Mine seems to have this dark line, but only on the right side. Is that normal? Thanks!

Mine does have a line, only on the right hand side (left as you look at him), but it's not very dark, I would liken it to having cried and the mascara has run a little??? (ok, this may not be the best description  )

They're both gorgeous!!

Hi Concordia, My Rhubarb has the line as you are describing...thought it may be something unique to my bear, but appears not :)

thanks, just looked a bit odd, being only on one side. They are lovely...but at least out of the box they have made me itch!

Itch as in want more bears? If so i know the feeling!..have just ordered 2 bears from my regular supplier :)

Uh oh, itchy not sounding good - you can't be allergic to bears concordia!
I've got mine on cheque hold until I get paid next week! I ordered 2 sets - one for me and one for my sister as she's emigrating to Canada. I'm too soft - I couldn't order one set and split them up as they should be together - what am I like!? My first Charlie Bears purchase - everyone's raving about them so I thought I'd give them a go. Usually collect Artist mohair bears but I've been so impressed by all of their feedback. Don't know why 2 people have written reviews on Sunday and Monday though - people shouldn't be able to write reviews when they haven't even received them yet!

Thank you! He's called Brogan..10year old westie, full of carachter and attitude lol

He's a terrier so the character and attitude go without saying. Mines a 4 yr old Border / Jack Russell Terrier so you can imagine the attitude I deal with on a daily basis but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Cheeky arrived this evening at 6-30 !, I have had visitors so could not post the news until now !!....He is soooo lovely, heavier than I thought he would be but gorgeous :flower:.....delivery has been very quick !

I'm still awaiting Emma's arrival (I've had the "she's on her way" email), but I'm used to waiting. ;) Slothy Joe went on walkabout for ages during the snow earlier this year, although he wasn't ordered from QVC. He did eventually turn up two weeks later having had lots of adventures. ;)

I'm sure Emma will put in an appearance soon. :)

Oh Toril, I do hope Emma's journey is less traumatic than Joe's.

Kenny arrived this morning. I had him delivered to work so I haven't opened the box yet - don't think all my colleagues quite understand the bear hug mentality. Anyway, all I can hear is snoring from the box so I don't want to wake him till we get home, where I have a large pot of honey waiting for him.

Emma is a little sweetie, a very girly bear, so adorable. I'm currently waiting on two bears that i think have been held up by postal strikes :headbang:

My daughter is buying me a Charlie Bear for Christmas I am just waiting for the catalogue to arrive so we can choose, but in the meantime I bought a Boyd's Bear called Conner Derek, he arrived so quickly he spent the night in my bin cupboard he was not impressed when I found him the next morning, and was a wee bit hypothermic but once I had thawed him out and settled him on a chair with the tv remote he was as happy as Larry.

Warm honey is very good for reviving hypothermic Charlie Bears!

Well, I'm pleased to announce that it was less traumatic because she arrived today and, as Tabs said, she's "a little sweetie, a very girly bear, so adorable."

She's now with all the others on one side of my bed (the advantage of having a double bed to yourself ;)) I'm moving house shortly, thanks to an impending divorce, so they (and I) will soon have the run of a house to ourselves. What's the betting it'll soon be overrun with bears? ;)
