On the news today, Amazon delivery drivers are self-employed, working at least 12 hour days, driving at 120mph to meet their schedule, and even falling asleep at the wheel.

Although are they not contract drivers to another company who Amazon has a delivery contract with?

Whilst Amazon has a moral duty it is the courier company where the ultimate terms, conditions and faults lie.

Do we as customers take any responsibility as we all want free next day delivery? Someone, somewhere has to pay for it and business will cut costs to the bone .

There will be a programme on BBC1 TV at 7-30pm about the Amazon delivery driver's conditions, with secret filming etc.
