What would make you buy from Gemporia again?

Won't ever happen. That's endless. You know why? Coz it's 'born' from the snail (or whatever it is) inside the Queen Conch

You can ask your local jeweller to remove the plating from the piece.

Why expect your local jeweller to remove the plating? If anything goes wrong with the item then the jeweller is responsible for it! If Gemporia cannot do the repairs on the goods they should not sell the items! Same as saying "get a valuation from your local jeweller" if the item "is" worth considerably more than it is being sold for then why can't Gemporia value it, they seem keen enough to compare their stuff against decent, well made jewellery! Just saying!!!

Based on the amount of misleading they do in order to get money out of customers, then if Gemporia believed the items were "worth" the amount they claim, then they would absolutely, without a doubt, sell it for that.

I find it hard to believe that a business that has had recent financial difficulties would sell an item for significantly less than it's worth out of the goodness of their hearts.
