I was just enjoying your comment, Totally Loopy Lou, about the horrors of cruises. I get that reaction from a lot of people, that it's their idea of hell. I wish I could treat you to a cruise. It would be lovely to afford to take nice people who are sceptical of the benefits. If one avoids all the American lines and screaming kids, there are lots of small ships which go to interesting places for archaeology. And two years ago I was pushed around the snow above the Arctic Circle in a wheelchair.
The reason I like Kim is that her clothes are wonderful to pack, you really can look smart without an iron. And the plain colours are easy to accessorise with fancy scarves and jackets. If only she had stuck to what she was good at. The thin fabric floral multi abstract print horrors she makes now I wouldn't be seen dead in.
And there's me, thinking I looked really glamorous. when Brissles says she can spot a Kim wearer and we look awful. Oh dear, it's time I took a good hard look in a mirror, I may well look a fright.
That's why I enjoy this forum. It helps me shake up my ideas about what I wear and what products I put on my face and use around the house and in the garden.
