Nothing recently, only buy what and when I need! All these constant reviews on make up and creams are so over rated. I will stick to my trusted ones, thanks!
Best Mascara and Eyeliners are from the High Street (my trusted opinion). Used them for years and a fraction of the costs! Got rid of my 'present drawer' years back too, lololo!!!!! :mysmilie_59:

What Mascaras do you like GG

Too embarrassed to admit but I returned a "fashion" item that I bought whilst a bit tipsy.

Note to self. Jumpsuits will NEVER look good on a person of my body shape and height.

I use collection mascara not at all expensive and suits me. I don't use eyeshadow and usually blag samples of foundation as very rarely use it. Avon glimmerstix for my eyes.

When will I ever learn ????
On the Kim & Co `s last visit I ordered two self coloured tops (can`t stand the prints) but they both arrived looking like they had been slept in !! Not worth the asking price ...I have bought in the past but I don`t think the quality is there anymore so that`s it for me as that was the only `fashion` brand I`ve bought in the past ...but will steer clear now :( They are packed up and ready for return........ to get your original P&P refunded do you still have to email requesting it or is it done automatically under the recent distance selling regulations changes?

Couldn't agree more! I've tried a few fancy high end mascaras but non do a better job than Max Factor's for me!

I have not bought lately but noticed when watching the Nina Leonard shows that when on the rail you see the light through some of the materials! Looks like quality there has gone down too!

I am about to return a box of Richard Jackson 's Premium easy flowers seed .
I should know better by now that NOTHING that man puts his name to is worth the money, but I had a large newly dug bed that I wanted almost instant colour in, and I swear that it was FREE P&P but when they arrived I had been charged £4.98 for it ,when I questioned CS they said Oh no that item has never offered free P&P.
Well I planted the seeds exactly to the instructions on the box and stood back and waited and waited well a few straggly looking plants have come up but nothing like the display that was shone on air, so I will be posting the empty box back and expect a full refund including the P&P as they haven't lived up to expectations.
To rub salt into the wound Poundland are selling almost exactly the same mix for you guessed it a POUND .

I hope if you get some seeds from the Poundshop they do as well as mine did.I had lovely cornflower ,poppies,a yellow flower and a blue bell like flower .A kind of cottage garden mix ideal for a patch of ground we had last year and some have reseeded this year.I also bought a lovely pair of climbing roses from Wilkos.£1.50each I think and this year we had loads of roses. They have lots of plants there too and good prices. The thing is if you only pay a pound and it doesn't work out you don't have all the messing about sending the c*** back and getting the p&p back.

I like No 7 mascaras and I wait until Boots have their freebie offer, order 2 mascaras and get the free gift. Today`s free gift was a travel size mascara, an eye shadow in Cappucino , a small tube of their airbrush away primer and a voucher to choose any full sized lipstick.

I've always had a problem with panda eyes. Various mascaras which were good were replaced by new versions which made me look like Chichi . Benefit was great but I just couldn't get the darn stuff off. I have very sensitive skin especially around the cheek area and just trying to remove it caused me real problems.

Then someone on here suggested Blinc and I have never looked back. It is a bit different and I find you do need to use a dry clean wand to un-clump it but it does not smudge and washes off with water.

I see Q are doing it but I just google the best offer at the time.

I returned this too - just didn't work for me! I then received it on auto delivery, seems returning the item isn't clue enough that I wouldn't want another set??! Why if I didn't like the first drop would I want it again? Come on QVC sort out your departments, if an item is returned surely it's possible automatically cancel auto delivery, especially when it's an identical item??

And me! I returned it because I realised that half of the ingreeejents would probably cause a problem with my skin. The last Skechers TSV. I think the size 5 would have fitted a size 8 and, to be honest, it really was my fault for ordering them as I never get on with Skechers. I'm returning a Kim & Co thing, not sure what it is as I didn't order it. I received it with no invoice and no details. A Susan Graver top that was just awful. All of this prompted me to write a letter of complaint about all sorts of things and, oh boy, I really didn't hold back. The answers I got were interesting. The inconsistent sizing is, apparently, an ongoing issue that they are trying to resolve. Ingreeejents in products, well, they have the facility to request these from their vendors. So why don't they do just that and post it on the website? Postage and packing - now that did make me laugh. My question was why are we charged for every single item. Their response, you can buy more, save more. Really! Over-packaging, they are going to look into it. The constant repetition of items (like the NoNo). Strangely enough that wasn't answered. The amount of tat that's being sold - they take all the reviews into consideration and they invite such feedback to assist them with what the customer wants in products and ranges for future shows. Believe that and you'll believe anything.

We have a community garden and planted the seeds from Poundland last year. We had a glorious display. This year we just plonked some more down and we've had the same results. Don't waste your hard earned on the stuff from Q. We get plants from Aldi and Lidl to put around the boarders and they are so cheap.

The prices Q charge for anything to do with gardening are ludicrous even not counting in the p&p. Makes even my local garden centre look good value & that's saying something!
Aldi is great for plants, as is Morrisons. Aldi's seeds at 39p a packet are as good as any by firms like T&M who charge £2+ for the same thing & I must have over 30 clematis plants by now in the garden that all came in small pots at £1.79 from Morrisons. They grow on almost as quick as ones you pay teens of pounds for from garden centres.
There are also some terrific mail order nurseries, small specialist ones as well as the bigger ones, that sell unusual plants very reasonably & don't charge the earth for postage.
I only once, in my early days shopping with them, made the mistake of ordering plants off Q, never again.

I returned a Pilgrim watch - looked lovely, navy blue rubber/silicone strap and rose gold face. It stopped after a couple of months so I took it to Timpsons to be checked out and he said it wasn't the battery it was the watch. Not the quality I was hoping for so I won't bother with them again. I bought a watch from Everything5pounds.com recently and so far it's going fine!

I returned the Adesso elasticated pumps. There was no way the elastic was going the stretch when the feet swell up.There was very little give in them. Not what they were saying on air. I go for months without buying and am pretty careful with what I buy to avoid return postage..

Last thing I returned was a Kim & Co top that was a rag. OK it was in clearance but it still cost money and it was fit for the bin. I don't buy as much as I used to so don't send much back.
