Very annoyed at this. 2 main reasons.

1st, the woman and Dennice last night said that you no longer had to worry about your 5 fruit and veg a day, well as far as I can see the 3 milkshakes, one soup and one meal does not account for 5 portions needed a day and I think it highly irresposible to just brush off something the government and health people are so serious about.

2nd, this system has 850 cals per day on the 5 days and 1200 on the days off. peeps say NEVER EVER to eat below 1200 a day unless medically guided, that information is available everywhere on the internet and as one who has been to a professional dietician and been told to never cut down by more than 500 a day men or women, then this also is highly dodgy if you ask me.
as an example, me, 5 foot 2, woman, little overweight, would use 1400 calories a day if I lay completely still and didnt even flicker an eyelid, which is why they say the minimum for women is 1500 a day.
Someone should do some reading and consult some people if you ask me.

Totally agree.
I could do with losing a few pounds myself, but if I had to choose, I think I would go for the Diet Chef on QVC.
Seems a much healthier option to me.

Although saying this I won't be buying either.
Both seem very expensive to me. Will just have to stick to willpower!:mysmilie_61:

Hi guys, I've done Weight to Go a few months back - and then saw it on Ideal World the other day when I was stuck at home in the snow! I can answer your question about the five a day - there are 3 of your five a day in the soup and the meal that you would be eating in that day, plus you add a portion of fruit and a portion of veg to it - so that means you've got your five a day.
I'm no medical expert but I was reassured the programme was safe because it was devised by a doctor who specialises in weight loss - he's one of the top experts - and there's no way they'd be able to put something on TV if it hadn't been properly checked out, I think they have to be really careful about that kind of thing. Ricky, why do you think Diet Chef is healthier? I haven't tried it myself, but just put about a half stone on over Xmas so who knows...

I think the price is a joke, I spend less than that on the whole household shopping each month!..... all you need to get the same results, for a fraction of the price, is a low fat cook book, a slow cooker and a freezer...add to that one afternoon a month bashing around in the kitchen with the stereo on full blast while you create your very own 'gourmet' diet range....simples!
