Your first order has to be a minimum of £10. Your second and subsequent orders have to be £15 minimum. Goods take 7-10 days because they’re flown from China, unless you choose an item from the local warehouse which I think is based in the U.K. If your parcel doesn’t arrive by the given date then you get £4 credit to spend later. That’s happened to me only once and I’ve made dozens of orders,

I’m like a walking Temu advert 😳 because, having lost so much weight, all my clothes were far too big so I gave them all to charity. I replaced my whole wardrobe of clothes and underwear for very little cost and people can’t believe that everything comes from Temu because it’s good quality. The other day someone said to me, “What a lovely top. Where did you get it from?” So I guess that will be another prospective customer for them. 😉One example of something that I bought is a waterproof coat with a hood (and yes, I was caught in a torrential downpour and stayed dry) and it cost £12. That’s a lot cheaper than the Seasalt one that aired the other day. That’s the main reason that I no longer buy clothes from QVC.

I also got £4 credit for the late delivery a couple of times.

What I don't understand with Temu is that one day I was shopping and there was a note in my shopping basket if I spend so much you I get a voucher for so much. I ended up buying things I didn't really need to qualify, but did not get the voucher. I also read other people complain about it on their website.

What was the waterproof coat please? I need one.

I’ve redeemed a few vouchers and codes but usually ignore them if I don’t want something specific.

I just typed waterproof coat into their search box and quite a few appeared. I went for the one below. I assume that all the waterproof coats do what they say on the tin. If not you can return them. I tried to return something once but they say “keep it” and gave me credit but I guess it depends of the value of the item.

OOOH I like that

I’ve got several of the original Turbie Twists still going strong.
They were lovely thick cotton :)

After they left QVC - and they have also sold microfibre versions - I found them on eBay UK….

They also sold great, really wide Turbie Twist elasticated towelling head bands of which I bought a few.

Over the years I’ve had plenty of micorfibre hair turbans too.

Mum got me some from Primark complete with a faux diamond “button” fastener.
It looked good and decent quality but did not dry my hair and gave me static!

I’ve had some fancy branded non-cotton ones too which were better but still not as absorbent..

For Christmas I acrually got a Danielle one. It’s microfibre sadly but is supposedly impregnated with argan oil so maybe that will make all the difference?! (Doubt it and putting off using it!)

Well, in my experience after getting caught in heavy rain, it is definitely completely waterproof and at just over £12 it blows the Seasalt one from QVC, which is currently just over £148, right out of the water (which is just as well as it’s WATERproof 😉.)
