This five-piece collection includes a range of great sun-protection products, including a sun cream specially formulated for the face and an aftersun. Protect yourself from skin damage with this array from trusted brand Ultrasun.

Contains:
1 x Face SPF 30 (25ml) - perfect for sensitive facial areas
1 x Glimmer SPF 20 (25ml) - gives a hint of shimmer to the skin
1 x Family SPF 30 (25ml) - made with a super sensitive formula
1 x Aftersun (50ml) - apply after sun exposure to soothe and moisturise
1 x Ultralip SPF 30 (4.8g) - this handy stick will protect the lips which can get chapped and sore in the sun

If you're buying it for the sun protection and the rest is a bonus, compare £19.00 or thereabouts for 75ml on QVC against Amazon price of £19.00 (just under) for 100ml. Maybe even cheaper on ebay or elsewhere - I haven't checked.

Now's the time to stock up on Ultrasun or whatever before the summer prices escalate.

I got last years try me set but I was not impressed really. It didnt live up to its claims for me personally. My main problem is sensitivity to sun and prickly heat. I applied religiously and also kept out of the midday sun but still got the problem. I got it because the guest was very specific about it being good for preventing prickly heat rash.Oh well Back to the drawing board.I suppose that is the point of try me sets.....

I think piriton is supposed to help. Suntan cream generally will not help as it is blocking the pores and that is what happens with prickly heat. Luckily for me I only get it in tropical conditions and am ok in europe

I swear that Liz Buin tan intensifying sun spray has made a huge difference to my prickly heat. It is not thick like some lotions/creams anddoesn' t block the pores which is a major cause of Prickly Heat. I also really believe that using Elemis Tan excelerator for a fortnight before l go on holiday really helps prepare my skin for the sun! I have been using both products for 4 years and in that time have not suffered with prickly heat. Before using these items l suffered terribly!

Check out thesuncareshop.com free p&p on everything and cheaper prices too than QVC, mind you isn't everything, also the choice is better thans QVCs too.

Prickly
Prickly heat is partly caused by bacteria on the skin. I go to India frequently and have learned that a light dusting of medicated talc over the affected area really helps. You can get Cuticura in the UK, and at Boots at most airport shops, or other makes of medicated talc. Hope this helps you.

Another over-hyped product

I bought lots of sets of Ultrasun for my frequent trips to India, and found that I still got sunburn, as well as looking as if I was covered in lard.

Then I started using Boots own brand, the once a day version, and that is much better for me, and much cheaper if you buy one of their frequent 3 for 2 offers. If you find this a helpful tip, please note that there is a big difference, although the packaging is similar so please read the carton carefully, between the once a day, and the apply several times a day formulas. If you are wandering about in a hot climate, the once a day is what I would really recommend and the one I use to avoid sunburn in India.
