Just seen a post on twitter it looks like they are coming back to QVC in the NEW Year.

Rather a short-lived transfer to IW, I think... mind you, I can't recall many, if any, gardening shows on IW. Whereas QVC are wall-to-wall beauty, IW seem to be wall-to-wall health and fitness equipment, kitchen equipment, and the ubiquitous Wagner... Nary a plant in sight.

I'm not keen on T&M. I used to buy a lot from them direct but the last couple of years their plug plants have been of poor quality and haven't flourished.

I'm lucky to have a couple of good garden centres nearby and I stick to them now,

i am not impressed with the over priced tat that qvc have been selling recently. i prefer thompson and morgan but buy direct much better value for bedding

this was announced on QVC the other month that they would be back in january as they read out a tweet during a gardening show from the guy from it & richard said looking forward to seeing you back in jan

I thought they'd signed a 3 year contract with IW? It hasn't been that long since they left Q has it? I wonder what happened?

I too am not lover neither my friend and I don't even bother with the free offers fulfilled by them in Gardening magazines, as they have been so poor.

Worst stuff we ever had never bothered again. Wilkinson's seeds are reliable and cheaper.

I tend not to buy plants from shopping channels you often do not get the same plant as represented on the show garden centres for me or online garden companies.

I buy most of my seeds in Wilkinson's too, this year also got my compost there too.

Oh, can't wait! (/sarcasm) At the start of the year it was wall-to-wall "gardening" shows. I'm not averse to having some of it on but it was beyond saturation at points - one weekend I recall 14 hours, with shows running from 7am until mid-day! And there is very little actual gardening done. It's mostly RJ standing with his hands shoved in his pockets watching the real experts selling. He only came alive when his own brand stuff came on. And, just for the record, I do enjoy gardening although I don't have a garden of my own right now :)

If they have the same guest they had before, he's rather nice... :mysmilie_12:

Ah yes, the delightful Michael Perry, but I hope he isn't coming back to QVC because when he was on IW they used to put Genevieve Redmond (Ni Ramon now I think) on with him and the flirting and carrying on was just outrageous :mysmilie_12: It was an absolute hoot and I never missed it. I just can't see Mr Perry getting it on with Ms Franks or Kabler in quite the same way.
