Once again total cock up with the colour choices on the Lola Rose show so item sold out before they have it sorted grrrrrrr

Also OTO photo not on website before sold out another grrrrrr

Yes -- why is this such a difficult thing for QVC and Lola Rose to coordinate -- clearly present the colour choices and their names. It is confusing sometimes as many bracelets, particularly the smaller styles like Tabitha for example, use many of the same stones or colours. Never quite sure which colour goes with which bracelet. So I don't purchase anything since I don't want to receive the wrong one and have to pay postage both ways ... a bit pricey these days.

For me its all about preparation ..do they ever put any planning into a show ?
Its like going into a store and asking an assistant for help and being fobbed off because they just can`t be bothered to find out for you!
I find it really annoying too when they start to tell you sizes on the fashion hour then find out they haven`t got them to hand on the card telling you to phone Liverpool
If the sizing's were consistent throughout the ranges it wouldn`t matter but its not so it does .....don`t think its asking too much for all the presenter to sort this out before they go on air!!
If some of them can do it they all can!!
They are the number one shopping channel after all!!

I think it is partly QVC's fault as they are always giving things different colour names to what the companies give.

Surely, as the designer, Nicki should know which stones are used for which piece as she chose them, I assume. She ought to have no problem, subsequently, in recognising which stone is which. QVC presenters are not jewellery experts, and can only rely on the printed sheet supplied for the products in the hour; Nicki is, so the onus is on her to ensure we get the correct information about the jewellery. I think, to make it a bit easier on all concerned, the Q should not rename the stones, but use the actual name Nicki knows them by. Incidentally, are the names she refers to the stones by, the actual name for that particular stone?

I caught a few minutes of Nina Leonard last night and it was chaos. They had about five multi colour options and not a clue which was which. Lenny disagreed with JF's version and eventually dragged out all the different patterns to explain them, something Q should have done as the main presentation. Of the five options, only two were on the hangers next to them to go through which is pretty crucial when the prints were so close in colour.

It happens in virtually every make up show with foundation, why on earth they don't just stick to the manufacturers names I do not know.

Oh yes, the make up! They also jumble up the order in the available options strip on screen. Drives me mad! Why they don't just go palest to darkest or vice versa is very puzzling. Why they jumble up fair, medium, light etc when it is pretty crucial you get the right one is beyond me. They just can't be bothered I guess but when AY starts going through them in a completely different order, and you may miss that and rely on the screen................... I guess that would be a return then, on my dime for the p&p and counting towards the letter.

Agreed, it's very frustrating when they can't get the shade/names right, but to be fair the brands themselves often don't help matters, take Kipling for example, how often have we heard, "this is the Grey Sky/Gentle Grey, but's not grey it's actually beige"

The title of this thread says it all: "This is what we're calling...". It should be a case of "This IS...", with obvious, known colour descriptions? I saw a bit of a bedding hour recently when they said, "This is what we're calling plum" and the colour of the sheets was nothing like a plum, more like a parma violet. Why couldn't they just call it that, or lilac? Fortunately, the only other colour option was even less plum-like (off-white or something) so people should have known which one to go for (although they might think the "plum" was just not available for demonstration). It is SO misleading. We should get our P&P and return postage back when it is so inaccurate as it is misrepresenting something to the buyer.
