My spending at QVC has gone right down anyway.I'm now down to buying kipling mostly.I bought the last Kipling TSV which in hindsight,I dont think was marvellous value.I also bought the last Laura gellar TSV and again, its not massive value - its not anything I've not received in other sets.
I've got a wedding and 40th birthday to attend in the next couple of months. The challenge to buy something to wear for both is on.I ordered a ronni nicole dress with many 5 star reviews and only 5 star reviews.,during the spring fashion promotion. Its hideous, doesnt fit right and its not worth even half what I paid for it.Yesterday I went to my local town centre, not really looking for a dress - but did try a couple on in TKMaxx (nothing special) but found love at first sight with a dress in house of fraser (episode). With all the postage - its probably only about £20/£30 more than the QVC offering. And looks and fits a million dollars. It cost me £2 in parking.
I drove home yesterday thinking what a mug am I to keep giving QVC my money.I've bought 2 kipling bags in as many weeks on Amazons lightening deals.they were practically giving them away - I bought an alvar for £10.99 and a bagsational for £12.49.Free delivery too and makes QVC's prices just ridiculous.I go on and on about if I had the money I would buy chanel foundation - I could have easily afforded that over my laura geller set.
I'm now in a position where I have to send the ronni nicole dress back.It would be cheaper to send it by the post office but its a hassle to get too.So I'm considering sending it by hermes which will cost me just under £4.I know all this info isnt news to me or many others on this forum - but I really think I've had it with QVC.I still watch and take part on here if though I've spent very little with them and that will still continue - but unless I see a massive deal on a much wanted TSV....QVC have had their last penny from me....
