Same in America. Although in fairness, I'm sure she sold them the range and continued to front it when she was alive. No doubt they'll have a photograph of her on the desk or as a backdrop.

I absolutely agree with you, I still miss her. I recall also her clothes were not off the shelf or designer as such but she wore Couture clothing. I would have loved a peek inside her home and wardrobe, Allison Young was there once. She was the epitome of class and elegance.

Tova was bought over by QVC some years back, she still was the face of the brand. QVC own her name even though she has passed.

That is the problem, if you name your brand with your own name when you sell to a bigger company, you have sold your name. Jo Malone and Bobbi Brown found that out. Jo Malone and Bobbi Brown are Estée Lauder owned, Jo Loves is the real Jo Malone the person's brand now and Bobbi Brown is Jones Road.
