Now don't get me wrong, I do like Glen but oh dear, what does he look like tonight! Who in God's name wears their shirt collar like that these days! And I'm not even going to comment on the extra short jeans with white socks and loafers.

Yep, he looked a proper plonker in that get-up. The vertical shirt collar was enough on its own, but the whole thing was a dog's breakfast.
I'm delighted he's managed to get lots of men's fashion slots, and he's easy on the eye... but really looking ridiculous isn't a good sales tactic, imo.

He should cut out the advice about, 'wear it with this, wear it with that', etc. We know what to wear it with. We'd much rather know details of the fabric and specific measurements. Get the tape measure out, Glen, and then we can compare tops, trousers, coats with what we have at home that fits. Fewer returns. That should work.

Call me an old cynic but I often wonder if this is done to make money on the p&p. In the past I’ve been charged £5.95 p&p but it only cost me £2.95 to send back.

With the millions of parcels QVC send out in a year, they must get massive discounts with their couriers. Negotiating rates with couriers, hauliers, shipping lines and airlines used to be part of my job. Once they knew the quantity, volume and weight, frequency of goods you despatched per annum, they’d be queuing at your door. I never had to send anywhere near QVCs requirements, but would expect to get anything from 25 to 50% discount.

Couldn't agree more. What does the extra three quid cover - putting it in an envelope costing them pennies (five seconds of someone's time)? shoving it through an automated packaging machine (another five seconds) plus the cost of working the machinery?

Money-grabbing through and through. I've always thought this. Far more honest would be to include the extra in the price so everyone could see exactly what it's costing them.

Yes, I think Glen has worked hard all his life in the 'rag trade,' a profession he joined years ago and which he says he loves. I have never seen his modeling, but have heard lots of reports. I'm glad too that he has work, but the way he presents on QVC is not very good for all the reasons stated on this forum.

It’s nice to see Julia on over the weekend. I know a lot of folks don’t like her but IMHO she is the most professional of them all. She always gives measurements and if she thinks they’re wrong says so and checks, and most times is correct. Debbie is another one. If a model is a scrawny size 8 and 6ft tall and wearing a maxi dress, Debbie will always say where it would come to on her 5ft 4” size 16.
