Catherine has a lovely voice. It's a shame she doesn't make better use of it rather than belittling herself or denigrating the dreaded high street... I think if she used a more varied turn of phrase as Ali Keenan used to do, but with her softer voice and slower delivery if would be a pleasure to listen to her.
I do wonder if adopting different looks, and her S.O.'s interests and lifestyle has a deeper origin. Will the real CH please stand up? I'm sure she is a likeable, capable lady... but that's not really what she portrays.

I suspect that voice isn't her regular voice.
