Nothing is 'normal' anymore, because its 'super' cool, 'super' chic, ' super' smooth, 'super' roomy, 'super' comfy, 'super' soft - - - - - -- I just wish they'd all 'super' sod off when they start 'super' spouting !!

(if its not 'super' where slowing 'super' morphing into........ 'UBER' !!!!! ) AAAAAAAAAAGH !!

Have you had Katy out to dress her for the show now?

"These leggings will make you super confident."

Even super is super, super super or in Princess Jackies case, like Alison "resident beauty presenter" Young, she says things in threes, so it'll actually be super! super! super!............ok I'll stop now. :mysmilie_17:

It's always interesting to see what silly superlatives they come up with. "This is uber-cool, super for gifting with that little pop of colour coming through it just tells that story. Dress it up, dress it down. You can accessorize it with a little corsage detail there. Why not sling this leather bag over your shoulder? It's so buttery soft."

But just imagine if they told the complete truth: "Look at this cheap pair of dusky pink slacks. Methinks that Barbie took a visit to a geriatrics' home for inspiration for her latest collection. That tight waistband will dig into my flab and make my midriff muffin out!"

Sorry, that last super sentence made no super sense at all....... it should read (if its not 'super, we're slowly 'super' morphing into 'UBER')

Watching spaniel ears this morning on the jewellery show she said "actually" in every sentence- so, actually ammazzingly sooper!

Can we add Super Lovely to the mix! I hear this word all the time, everything is Lurvely and everyone is Lurvely! Real World where are you :mysmilie_13::mysmilie_19::mysmilie_19::mysmilie_11:

Jim Bowen beat them all to it with his Super, Smashing, Great back in the 80s!

I've started to notice another one of these silly expressions too, although not yet on QVC - things aren't trendy or on trend anymore, they're now "trend right"!

*facepalm*

Chloe E and Dale F are pains in the arse for saying "of course" all the time, even when "of course" doesn't even fit in the sentence and they just say "of course" just for the sake of it.

Do these presenters, stylists & the like never watch playbacks of themselves so they can pick up and try to avoid irritating habits?

They are all so indoctrinated by social medyiaaa lifestyle/mannerisms they would only think they were spot on in the world of modern media. Everyone wants to be a TOWIE/Kardashian/Love Island type of personality.

Me too! I've never watch a second of any of the above.

That Lorna lady who does those fountains might be the nicest woman in the world, but she doesn't seem able to post photos of any product without adopting a "selfie pout pose" which makes me want to slap her so I've never watched anything she had ever presented.

What happened to being professional- when did everyone you meet feel the need to treat you as if you were a member of their inner circle.

When they all go over the top it takes me back to Simon groom from the earlier Blue Peter kids programme days
He was always saying "absolutely wonderful " etc and his famous ..."what a lovley pair of Knockers they are too ":mysmilie_17: ( door knockers )
It seemed that he had lived under a rock most of his life and was just experiencing things for the first time lol.....just like tHE QVC bunch

Aaaaargh! That's an abomination! I HATED "fashion forward" when they were using it a couple of years ago but "trend right" just about beats it for the extreme irritation factor.

Is there a 'trend left' I wonder.

Actually I think I have answered my own query re 'trend left' it will be the hideous ranges of clothing that should have been left on the design floor.

I particularly hate it when they fit the word "again" in a sentence, particularly when they haven't made whatever point it is for a first time: "And again you can see that lovely buttery soft leatherette monkey jangling on the lime green tassle there. His name's actually Cecil."
