My pet hate is starting a sentence with So

What is beyond annoying is when they say a sentence and at the end of it ask "why?" then answer their own question.......why? because it doesn't half get on my chesticles :mysmilie_10:

Nothing is 'normal' anymore, because its 'super' cool, 'super' chic, ' super' smooth, 'super' roomy, 'super' comfy, 'super' soft - - - - - -- I just wish they'd all 'super' sod off when they start 'super' spouting !!

In the 'heady days' when I was working in a Call Centre (yep I was one of those 'incompetents' (though I tried to be less so)), then when we had monthly progress meetings our TM would pick up words or phrases that we 'over-used' and pointed them out to us, so that we are aware of them and to try and 'catch ourselves' before using them for 'nth' time during a call! It is a pity the same can't be done for presenters as I am sick of JF 'beyond excited' and 'super' phrases so yes it would be an idea if this could happen!
