Last year I bought reader sunglasses in Poundland, yes you guessed it for £1 and they're great especially when on holiday!

I hope they've still got them in Poundland- I'll be down there over the w/e to look.
BTW you even have to shop around in the cheapie shops. I bought a couple of lumbar supports for the car and my office chair at £3 each and then I discovered them in the Poundshop for 99p!! I felt quite cheated. They were identical. Apparently our days of cheap goods may be numbered was listening to a programme on the emergence of the middle classes in China so that the output of the factories will be needed by their own internal market and we will have to pay a higher price for the goods that China send us.

Typical the one night I go to bed early. Saw the repeat at 7am but didn't notice it was the TSV, thought oh I will get them when I come home from errands and they were all gone. I hope they repeat this TSV as the readers in my shops are not anywhere near as nice.
