At those prices I'd expect 18ct, lots of countries don't even recognise 9ct as worth buying & start at 14ct.

But act is the standard here in the UK and whilst it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect those stones to be set in 18 carat gold they weren't. I do agree that there are other ranges that are better value but there are also ranges that are much much more. It's the buyer's choice.

Jewellery is so personal and although I thought those pieces were pricey, had I had a reason to treat myself and the cash to spare then I would have considered two or three if those pieces. The rose gold necklace, the White gold wiggly ring or the ruby pendant. Lovely!

And the colour coming off that wiggly diamond ring was amazing.
