I am watching the 8.00a.m news & can’t believe the conditions out there.I hope you are all safe, well and keeping warm.I must be one of the few people in the country who is not facing any snow, very cold but No snow. This message may be deleted, nothing to do with QVC, but stay safe.SFX

I have never known the snow/cold this bad in the Midlands. I really feel sorry for people that have to travel.

Very cold in our part of the Midlands. We've got a small amount of Alpine snow that's drifting around like feathers, or even bits of polystyrene, it's causing havoc with tyres getting iced up & journeys that normally take minutes now lasting hours.

We have about 6 inches but as I live on a hill I’ve decided to stay indoors this week and do some much needed chores and just eat out of the freezer.

This is the first year we haven’t been under pressure to battle to work so have just decided to be sensible.

I'm amazed QVC haven't taken the opportunity to lob in winter trax or similar, and other cold weather items. Missing a trick, as their schedules are rather inflexible. It's going to be challenging for deliveries in some areas, and probably presenter rostas will be juggled as some are likely snowbound due to where they live.

I feel sorry for the posties and delivery people, making efforts to deliver QVC parcels in these conditions.

well i was shocked. i ordered a duvet from m&s 4.00pm yesterday free post and it came this morning along with three sets of cozee home bedding bought in the sale from qvc. the delivery men were given a very hearty thank you for their endevours

No snow in my neck of the woods either just strong wind and freezing cold.

Shap hasn’t been mentioned a route I know very well.Have had some nightmare drives in the past but always got through. The Gulf Stream must be keeping our coast ‘warm’!

I`m in the North West and we`ve had a fair bit of snow especially in the more hilly parts. The wind is a killer though, it`s awful, bitterly cold and making temperatures feel even lower than they already are. My labrador isn`t happy about not having her usual walk over the fields and hills but I simply daren`t risk it at the moment. The ground is frozen solid, slippy and the temperatures are well below zero. I have osteo arthritis and much as I usually enjoy walking the dog, I`m not keen to have a broken hip from a fall on the ice.

We ordered heating oil last week, usually delivered next day, and it still hasn’t been delivered and tank is getting low as it seems to be using at a rate of knots.

Think Mr L might have to battle out and buy emergency containers to see us over the weekend.
