This is a good deal - JLP have the later model (WV362UK) for £179.99 and that's with a £50 saving applied. I'm slightly tempted but I didn't rate my cordless Dyson (took too long to charge for less than 20 minutes running time) so I think I'll go for a corded stick for the lighter jobs.

I need a cleaner for the upstairs and bedrooms hate bringing the Dyson up. Not sure about shark though.

After my 12 year-old Dyson stopped performing as good as it used to, I bought a Shark upright in the BF deals and I'm very impressed. The only word of caution is they're much heavier than a Dyson - it felt like pushing a wheelbarrow in comparison. I'm used to it now but I'd like a stick as well.

I am wondering about this as I have a Dyson stick but wanted to try this one. It looks like a handheld sweeper with a handle. I really want a cleaner upstairs and one downstairs.

Yes I agree a bit heavy and are prone to stopping and having to open it up to remove debris here and there .. however lots of YouTube advice and it’s easy to do …that’s not a bad price .. we paid about 170 ….
Good power …. Worth a go if considering a new one anyway …. Good charger …
Keep away from Bosch is my advice as awful and customer service practically null and void in our experience and if it hadn’t been for Argos it would have been a never ending saga … they were fab

I used to “swear by” GTech. However, a Shark anti hair wrap vacuum cleaner was recommended to me and so, when one of my two GTechs conked out, I bought a Shark. My remaining GTech is kept upstairs and the Shark is for downstairs.

I did the carpets with the GTech first and everything looked clean. However, I then redid them with the Shark and was mortified at the amount of dust etc that it picked up. I don’t find it heavy to use and the bonus was that I got it on a deal direct from Shark and it does hoover up hair and leaves none on the roller. As I have long hair, that used to be an issue with the GTech but not any more. When the GTech upstairs eventually dies a death, it will be replaced with another Shark, although the one that I bought has a larger dust cannister than that of the TSV.
