Sara G was at it again whilst on the James Lakeland fashion hour trying to tap the app and buy a top. She was most annoyed that the app said it was sold out but she had not been told this from her director. (Welcome to our world Sara!) When it went onto the next item she didn't give prices or anything and admitted she had not looked at up at the autocue as she was still trying to order her top on the app' This is absolutely ridiculous and should not be allowed. I know there has been threads on here before about presenters buying live on air but nothing ever seems to be done about it. If I tried to order something while at work/on duty I would at the very least be given a verbal warning. Surely they get enough time before a show to see what is going to be on air and could order it then. I find the whole thing very unprofessional and it should be stopped!!

Completely agree. She could have done it on the quiet but making a big fuss over it live on air - hmmmmm. Bad patter.

I often wonder if all this missing out on ordering is genuine or just another sales Ploy.

Of course if they actually did any pre show preparation this would not occur but as we well know only Julia, Charlie and Dale seem to be aware of what is on and are able to spot any inaccuracies which appear on screen.

LOL yes, maybe everyone rushes to the phones so that Sara WON'T get the dress of her dreams! You could well be right.

Anyone with any sense of elegant discretion would not make such a song and dance about buying via the app. This is clearly a sales ploy and not a very professional one. She would have been made privy to what was being sold before going to air. Why didn't she buy it then if she liked it so much?

As if any of them would be seen dead in Q fashion. And would definitely never spend their own money on it. The only one who appears to actually wear it outside the studio is DB Flint, but I suspect it is because there are freebies.

Q should learn never to try to kid a kidder.

I saw this. This top was £116.00 plus p&p and she bought two!!

Thought the items were well overpriced and I can't stand Sara G so quickly turned off.

Ah but will she keep them? 30 day MBG may come into play methinks, that if the order ever existed in the first place.

I can't stand the woman so glad I didn't see it otherwise we may now be in the market for a replacement telly.

I watched briefly - until she opened her mouth. I quickly switched channels before she could interrupt the guest while I was watching. I just find her presentation style intensely irritating.

I don't watch any show that's she's presenting, even if it means I'll miss out on a purchase. The speed she speaks and the fact that she dominates the shows, despite there being a guest with her, is not my 'cup of tea,' nor is the fact that she just rattles on because she seems to enjoy the sound of her own voice. I don't remember her being so 'orally hyperactive' when she was on QVC before going on maternity leave.

Or is it just me?

My thoughts exactly.

Sara G is not that good of actress surely? she can't even present properly :mysmilie_50:

Well if it was a sales ploy she is a good actress and needs to get back into the theatre!!! She seemed genuinely put out when she thought the top had sold out. She was quite cross and was messing with her Ipad so much that she did not read out relevant information for the next item and had to apologise! Who knows though? She does come out with some right twaddle though waxing lyrical about products. Unbelievably pretentious phrases.

I remember CHuntley doing this on a Lulu G show, the colour of handbag sold out quickly. CHuntley got one by the skin of her teeth, this p*ssed off many on here and FB page. Many missed out on getting it and she as a presenter live on air grabbing one. This was the app on her phone not the Ipad in those days.

Then the famous earring drama, she so wanted these but seems to have missed them in the prep room(the presenters it seems are suppose to look at the products to appear to give them an idea of what to say or what the product looked like before on air), anyway she begged live on air for people not to buy all the stock of the earrings. They did sell out and she whined and moaned for the rest of the show.
