I googledI think they mentioned once, very briefly, that you also have to have a modern smartphone for it to work properly.
The folding phone was interesting, they said the screen was GLASS but I don't understand how glass will fold. In some shots you could see a pronounced ripple line where it folds.
I would love to handle one. There was no mention of how many times you could fold and unfold it before the screen fails (like they used to do for the lock'n'lock hinges).
And I didn't understand the case at all. It didn't seem to be a case, just a bit of plastic that stuck over part of the phone, and seemed to light up.
Very interesting, it is bendable, not actually foldable, the hinge keeps it from bending less than 5mm. Supposedly it can be bent up to 200,000 times.
Apparently the fold on the screen can weaken and a new screen would cost £60+I watch loads of K dramas on Netflix and Amazon Prime. These flip style phones on every show going back to 2020, I never fancied one as I have read they can break quite easily.

I’m with you there. My phone lives in my handbag. I use it for phone calls and text messages. I have it mainly for emergencies. Since landline moved to broadband if internet fails I have no way to get help. It is a cheap Samsung smart phone which I can access the internet on 5G if my internet is down.I wonder how many months that would last people who seem to be glued to social media on their phones 24/7? In the case of some, probably a couple of months.
I’m always amazed how many people, of all ages, that I see walking down the street with the eyes on their phone screen. I’m afraid my phone stays in my bag when I’m out, although I don’t do social media. I must be really “old school.”
Was it the recent A35 5G TSV?I’m with you there. My phone lives in my handbag. I use it for phone calls and text messages. I have it mainly for emergencies. None of the phone companies gave any thought to that when they switched off the old copper lines. Goodness knows what would happen if both internet and mobiles are working. Perhaps I should get a Morse code machine or some semaphore flags
That frankly is your opinion.. I have a set of standing earbuds and highly rated them. Each to his own?So if this is correct it is yet another thing DF has got wrong, her blog said it was a TV. If it does turn out to be a smartwatch TSV I will refrain from saying "I told you so"
Samsung Earbuds are awful, such a poor fit, I got a pair free with my phone and sold them, have had Samsung phones for many years but don't rate the Earbuds.

No. It’s a galaxy A14 5G from John Lewis, bought at the beginning of last year. This replaced an earlier Galaxy that was 5 years old. Not one to change my phone every time a new version comes out. Only bought a new one because the battery was taking an age to chargeWas it the recent A35 5G TSV?

I use my phone all the time. I can’t imagine living my 21st century life without it.
My phone lives in my bag, too. We still have a landline, though for how long? I'd happily pay good money to keep it.I’m with you there. My phone lives in my handbag. It really is very difficult not to have a phone as you need it for so much security, just shopping online your bank will text you a code. Even doctors surgery communicates by text! In fact a family member of mine couldn't do her job without a mobile phone as she wouldn't be able to access the company system as security goes through your mobile.Wow!
