Most people don't keep many friends from school. There is only one I kept in touch with and then we had a falling out. Our lives went in different directions and we grew up to be different types of people. I don't know who Lizzy Cundy is, but with a name like that!!!
Oh there are 7 of us who left school in 1965 and we are all fairly local apart from 1 in USA and 1 in Australia and we meet up every few months. Our friend in the USA comes over once a year to see her son amd granddaughter and the one from Australia comes over 2/3 times a year. The Australian ones moved over there after they retired as both their sons live there but they also have a flat over here.

Lizzie was married to former footballer Jason Cundy and she kept his name after she divorced. I'm guessing so that people would recognise her. Nothing wrong with that, I kept my married name as well as I much preferred it to my real one (although I wasn't married to anyone famous!).

As I have no interest in football so haven’t a clue who he is either.

She often posts on IG her female friends. Know she is very friendly with Lucy Alexandra who used to be on Homes under the Hammer Colleen and Saira from LW

She's on GBNews - describes herself as a "Columnist" 🤣🤣 and "broadcaster" 🤣🤣🤣🤣. On others days she calls herself a "commentator:" 😂😂😂

She's more fitted to a desperate ageing Love Islander , but hey she's clearly got a savvy Manager whi gets her work and invites to everything where cameras are going to be. Personally I find her nauseating.

Just flicking through the TV and good old Ruthie "with a twist" is on. Trainers at £112 plus postage and packing! Honestly, I could never ever pay that for a pair of trainers, especially from RL. I think QVC is totally overpriced these days, am buying less and less from them. Am I the only one??

Nope - I hardly watch at all now, much less buy anything

No you're not and I've been with QVC from almost day one and I've spent monumental amounts of money - to be fair, liked what I bought most of the time. I do feel the range of products and the quality have gone down, the prices and postage costs have gone up (which I suppose is to be expected). QVC just don't have the things they used to have (e.g Mr Christmas had much lovelier things and Thomas Pacconi. Lots of other good brands, Aveda, Decleor etc). I know some brands have gone bust or sold out but there was still a lot to get excited about. Now everything is a "considered purchase", even the microfibre cloths!

I’ve bought a lot from QVC in the past but, in the last few years, have been a lot more selective. If I see something that interests me I can usually source it more cheaply elsewhere, despite the fact that we’re often told that something is only available on QVC, and especially when other companies do free P&P and faster refunds if it has to be returned. I still buy a few items from them but not that often.

I now look at most of the fashion on QVC and think to myself “crikey, how much?” 😳 because I’ve recently stocked my entire wardrobe for a fraction of the price and the quality of the items is just as good as the clothes I used to get from QVC and, in some cases, it’s better quality. I am lucky in as far as I can buy what I want without having to think about it but I am more in favour of finding a bargain. The last item of clothing that I bought from QVC was a faux leather jacket which was in clearance and, after also using the 20% discount code, it cost £28 and a few pence. In fact, as I’ve mentioned on another thread, I liked it so much that I ordered another one for the same price. I class that as a bargain! 😉
