The striped Bretton top she's selling this time has matching stripes front and back, but a couple of striped garments she's sold in the past did not match up. Ruth looked nice in her Breton top but Julia looked weird in hers. She looked as if she had stuffed a pillow in front of the shirt. People should wear what suits them, and loose, flowing tops do the job for Julia, not clinging cotton T shirts.
I'm absolutely guilty of not clearing unworn/unwanted clothes out first; and you're right, cupboard space is at a premium in most houses/flats today, especially those built in the last 40 years or so. I also admit to being a 'jackets hoarder' as I wear them a lot, casual ones and more formal, but I've never been tempted by what I've seen on Q, as most of them are well overpriced (even with special offers) and from what I've read on here I don't trust their colour descriptions or their sizing.
I thought Julia's outfit choice looked awful, top and jacket both too small as usual. She doesn't see herself as others see her. And why did she wear the jacket collar turned up the whole time?
She thinks it looks cool to turn the collar up, or maybe Ruth advised her to do it.

Julia has the 'uniboob' issue where certain tops squish the breasts together and make them look like one massive breast. It is made worst by wearing clothing too small for her. Kim and Co and Monsoon tops are generally better on her.

The more see the RL range I am sure they are items are already in a manufacturer’s range which are taken then ‘tweaked’ to have the ‘RL twist’.A range from a designer has a particular handwriting like ( love or hate) Yong Kim or the early days of Marla.Yet Ruth goes from Outerwear, dresses, knitwear, leisurewear, accessories, bags, sunglasses, footwear the list goes on.A genius! money well deserved! Ruth wouldn’t know the world of fashion if she fell over it.I did & spent years working in that world but she has the one with the bank balance I haven’t got!!!

That's very interesting. I've always thought her line of clothing was too bland, middle of the road, non-offensive. No real personality, as other brands would have. For example, di Lisi's 'preppy' look and Melissa's rather strange, unique concoctions. The 'signature orange piping' is a tweak/twist to make it justify her name on the label. I'm smelling the rat as well.
Yes I had some very good times but also very bad! Some of the people I worked with would have been in Court now! However on the whole it took me from a quiet graduate at 21 to a retiree at 77 who has the confidence to travel and still have new and interesting experiences.My private life was not so fortunate, I did not marry well and have children.Some people I know like to remind me of that fact but I look back on my life & despite the good, bad and indifferent, I feel in a ‘good place’ can you ask for anymore.?
