Regarding Ruth's 'expert' status, to me it seems just like the Beckham kids syndrome - an 'expert' at one thing after another. As one thing pales (or fails!) they turn to something else. People who've spent years in a trade (like the fashion business) must laugh their heads off at some of what these so-called experts say.The pink striped top that Julia was wearing looked washed out colour wise. Someone on another Facebook page said that Ruth will be leaving the world of fashion early in 2026. True, or gossip?
As long as you don't say that DL looks like a silly tw*t in the jacket you'll be OK with them!!!I plead Guilty!I'll never be accepted by Q's own chat forum at this rate, will I?

The same with Amanda Holden. I can imagine her thumbing through an enormous factory catalogue of Chinese furniture/homeware products and putting a sticker on the ones she thinks will go down well on QVC. She'll add a few bells and whistles to make it her own design, and Bob's your uncle - a set of velvet trunks.Regarding Ruth's 'expert' status, to me it seems just like the Beckham kids syndrome - an 'expert' at one thing after another. Lauded as 'Experts', but in many cases with no background in the field, no training, little experience, etc. They must sit and think 'OK, now what's next?'

These channels will always offer the Z listers, partners of the famous (or formerly famous), etc. the opportunity to market the end result. Joe Public, who is likely to be really talented and have put in the hard graft, might never get the opportunity, even though Joe Public might have real talent. All so shallow and superficial, especially when someone is just putting their name to something. The same with Amanda Holden.
