Rule Change?

For some time now products are being offered on 5 easy pays. I remember a time when presenters would promote how wonderful the 4 easy pays were because that was the maximum they could offer under the Credit Agreement without interest rates.

Have the rules changed ? now that 5 easy pays are offered ?

I always thought it was a max of 4 easy pay, or they had to do a credit check?

QVC US have done 6 easy pay for years and I remember people on Facebook asking why QVC UK could not do the same, and it was the Credit Agreement and credit checks was the reason.

They have been offering 6 since 2019

I bought a Dyson air purifier, heater/cooler fan from QVC, Italy about 18 months ago on six easy pays. I don't usually go for monthly payments, but as this was an expensive item, I took the opportunity. QVC Italy offer lots of six easy pays.

which means the rules have changed.
