We’re switching to induction and need some new pans. I duly trotted along to see Q’s offering. I searched for induction - nothing. Then asked for pans - nothing. Finally tried cookware and bingo! A few results. There’s absolutely no flexibility in the search. I’m not buying their pans, can do better elsewhere but it must cost them when they sell stuff that you need to play a guessing game to find.

I find the same, and if you get just one letter wrong, instead if saying "did you mean …" it just says no results.

If you search for turquoise ring you get blue tops, blue torches, blue anything except rings.

And if you try to search by size if you are extremely lucky it’s items which had that size once upon a time not items actually in stock.

TBH I find that the most sites are all front fancy flashing photos but the bones of things like searches, finding important info like sizes and returns are very poor.

All fur coat and no knickers.

Q are living in the past. I don't think they have invested any time and effort in their website...and even if they do, it has to be linked to their warehousing system in real time, so I do understand that it is no small undertaking.
As someone who works in an IS/IT environment, on big projects (well, big for my company), I know it's all in the preparation. Getting the scope defined, and get the requirements from all the user communities is always a good place to begin.
Many of my projects have taken years to go live, but are moving the game on. Q barely make any effort except the graphical interface. A bit like rearranging deckchairs on the Titanic.
