Are there any birds about then in this weather ?? I've seen a few crows braving the elements, but surely aren't we months away from feeding young birds in their nests?

I do have a couple of old birds nesting under my tiles, who regularly do a tap dance on my ceiling - I've made them too ****** comfy here so they've abandoned any idea of flying south for the winter.

Richard Jackson's 12.75kg Premium High Energy Bird Food with 500g Fledgling Food

but yep seems a bit pointless to me but i bet it sells well because the bird food usually sells out pretty quick

I recently bought a large bag of bird food from Home Bargains, which the birds seem to prefer than the triple the price one I bought from a specialist bird food site.I find qvc p and p expensive, as the bird food company i used have offeres on p and p and deliver quickly.

If you buy bird food in any quantity, we do as we're in a rural area with a big garden so lots of birds, can I suggest you look in your local phone directory( or online) to see if you have an animal feed mill or just an agricultural supply place near to you? We buy our bird seed from the corn mill where we buy sacks of feed for our livestock at a much more economical price than you ever see in pet shops, supermarkets, QVC etc. The birds actually prefer it too, the odd time we've run low & resorted to buying a bag from the local pet shop the birds hardly touch it whereas the stuff from the corn mill we have to top up twice a day!

Richard Jackson’s Bird Seed…what will he put his name to next!

I wonder if he’ll use his usual spiel to peddle this stuff...I can see it now …………

”In my opinion this is the best bird seed on the market”
”In scientific tests, it’s been proven that the special ingredients in the bird seed will produce bigger and better birds year on year on year”
“Due to the special formula contained in the bird seed, the birds will return to your garden month after month until the first frost”
“Compared with ordinary bird seed, this is extra special”
“With daily feeding, the birds will grow to the size of dinner plates”
“What I like about the bird seed, is that the birds will look great all year round”
“With this product, anyone can feed the birds”
“With the extra nutrients in the bird seed, the inevitable bird droppings will enrich the soil in your garden”

You missed out- this is a new generation bird food -tested by myself cant stop chirping sorry talking about it.

Now that Thompson and Morgan have gone to IW, i wonder if we will see our favourite Gnome, venture into new lines, Plants grown by him, and having been natured by Arnie Rainbow

That is a surprise Thompson and Morgan had been with QVC since the beginning, wonder what happened?

How about a loaf of bread? Surely the birds would love it? Particularly granary. Why spend all that money lining that rasping old gnome's pockets buying his stupid seed when you can buy a loaf of bread that will suffice?

Its bad to feed birds bread in the winter month as it swells in there stomachs so they end up not having enough food to survive the winter months and die. However there are better and cheaper alternatives to buying this TSV.

I think you will find de jager are doing young plants now and, i noticed some very poor reviews of T@M young plants on qvc website and, they seem to have changed to garden express.

I will still buy from Thompson and morgan direct as I pick and choose what to buy and they do some good deals. far cheaper than buying from qvc. they have hayloft and dejager now selling with high postage costs per item. not the best way to buy

boffy probably the best way i am not keen on advanced orders either i prefer to wait until nearer planting time for buying plants
