Hello Hammy, I’m pottering about while running a bath and have Pedro on my iPad spouting his ‘watch words’ while I wait. And I wondered to myself, what would Hammy think of all this clap trap tonight?! Well, wonder no more!

I was going to post about the SaintsLad debacle but I have nothing to add that hasn’t been said already. I was then going to post about tonight’s litany of lies from Pete the Cheat but I (genuinely) can’t keep up! It’s just the same old gross exaggerations and misinformation over and over and over again. It’s lazy, shameless presenting - everything’s ’limited in number’…but the numbers are never disclosed, everything’s ’the latest in technology’…when it absolutely isn’t, everything’s the ‘height of luxury’…when it definitively isn’t. And it just goes on and on…

And this is why we moan about it, @saintslad

Because most of us on here can’t stand the fact that gullible/vulnerable viewers are often being treated abysmally by I.W under the guise of their so called ‘family, friendship, fun’ banner.

When they say that a watch selling for £200 easily sells for £2000 I wonder why they don't sell it for that. I totally get the concept of a loss leader, a product at the front of a store sold at a big discount to get people in. But I can't see that it applies here, they're not promoting it elsewhere to get people watching IW, they're just selling the same stuff to their same audience.

So it's easy to conclude that they are being economical with the truth. And that the £200 watch, "worth £2000", is actually worth £50, £100 at most.
