Got mine off Amazon, was only about £30. Very small but reviews were good (I know you can't always trust them) but it has a very powerful sound. Brand name of Anker, I'd never heard of them.

Anker is a solid brand. Doesn’t just rebadge peanut price ODM items with their logo like others will. They offer a decent balance of quality and price IMO. Not ultra top tier, but well above grot tier. I’ve a few Anker things myself and they’re all well made, work as intended and feel like they’ll last…

They have an outlet on eBay which is often pretty cheap if you don’t mind refurb items. The trick is watch items and wait since their outlet is almost always among the “selected sellers” eBay discount codes work with.

(I write about technology to earn my crust 😅)

Hubby bought me a Bose Sound link mini, and it just wouldn't pair with my headphones or turntable, so we sold it.
Thats a shame, I am a bit surprised, Ive had the Bose Soundlink Micro for about 7 years now, it has been on beach holidays, in swimming pools (waterproof) and gets used most days in the gym garage at home and its been 100 percent reliable. A bargain for £80 and they still sell the same model now, one of the best value things Ive ever bought

That's really interesting. I'd never bought a Bluetooth speaker before and didn't know what to get. I'm no sound expert and sadly I'm not lucky enough to feel music like somebody claims to. Thought I'd start with a cheaper one to see how I got on and get a better one later if necessary. Was absolutely delighted with it, its really powerful. It's so small so easy to move from room to room. I'm streaming musc, podcasts and audiobook a lot and it's perfect. Nice to know its a reasonable brand.

And I'll know who to ask I I have any questions about tech!

This is the one I have… On a good deal currently. Charges my iPad and phones etc..,

We are lucky to have Herring on here. I always really appreciate their contributions.

Thanks for that, I'll get myself one, that's a decent price.

It's nice to have some guidance, I can be pretty clueless so have to rely on what the nice people at IW say. I know they tell it how it is and wouldn't con me🤣🤣🤣.

The only thing it would pair with was my iPod, which I still use. I now use the Sonos Beam Gen 2, which we have as our sound bar for the TV.

Interesting brand name for the neck cream Sally is flogging - Cult51. At least I think it said that... I hope there's never a typo when they're printing the labels🤔

The company's website is selling it for $4,656.00 but IW are selling it for £59.99😂. In fact, Sally said "someone is selling it for that" and laughed. But it was the company itself that had the huge price.

So Sally and the team at IW were just selling Cult51 £59.99, made a big, big, BIG point of their price comparisons, £110 on the Cult51 UK site but a massive $4656 (which must be the one of the specialists in the States declares Mears), even provided a graphic of this amazing price comparison..

Just a screen grab from the UK Cult 51 site for reference wasn't on the show.

Now the Price comparison graphic of $4656 from the show (screen grab from IW youtube channel), which Sally made a big point in showing, must be web site in the states according to Mears.
;)

The second image is blurry as that was the resolution on IW youtube feed, was also blurry on the TV.

Okay now here's a clearer image, this is from the Cult51 UK web site.

Now with the clearer image you can see their price comparison the price is in TAIWANESE DOLLARS, which is equivalent to approx £110.

I'm telling, they are devious ******* shysters.

Price is not huge, i've just posted why. ;)

I would also have taken it back. Quite like Bose, have the Bose noise cancelling QC35 they have also been great and sound superb, also using Sonos playbar (discontinued) for the telly and thats a quality product , not cheap was £500 about 8 years ago now, seriously good sound.

Hearing these decent brands people like, were definitely all watching the wrong shopping channel!

I'm on to my second pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones, first pair had a wire connection, now have the Bluetooth ones.

Of course I meant Curt...

God you absolutely despair of them, don't you? Despair in terms of having any moral code. An item that is currently £35 on Amazon - they quote an unsourced price comparison of £103 to their £49.99. Genuinely – how do these people sleep at night? I know...in a big comfy warm house in a large opulent bed with the underfloor heating on.

Jesus...that bl oody A1(M) story.....Off to work...
