Nelson Riddle's arrangements of Sinatra songs are brilliant. My favourite is I've Got You Under My Skin, the way it gets louder and builds up to the brass section going crazy! I've heard current big bands play that arrangement and it's amazing hearing it live. I also like Billy May's arrangement on Come Fly With Me

I hadn't realised that Wee Small Hours was arranged by Nelson Riddle, its not the style I associate him with.

I like a lot of stuff from that era. Ella Fitzgerald (my favourite), Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Sarah Vaughan. Haven't listened to Sinatra for a while, I need to rectify that.
Ella Fitzgerald is my all time favourite female singer. Especially love the Ella Fitzgerald Songbooks albums. I do like most Jazz but not keen on contemporary jazz. Sarah Vaughn & Lena Horne I also like. Male singers same as you. Another favourite is Cab Calloway. My dad was always singing Minnie the Moocher and I think his music was used in the Betty Boop cartoons.

I streamed the Tony Bennett Duets albums with various artists and the one singer who surprised me was Lady Gaga. Also got the other full albums of just the two of them. Mind you not overkeen on her pop stuff.

Sounds well dodgy and distorted full blast. Never cut corners with audio equipment if you can help it. It's both a false economy, and a major disappointment if you want to listen to your music in the best possible form.

Dress up cheap unbranded Chinese tat all you like...You wouldn't give it house room, Mick.

The whole thing looks so out of date and lacking in any decent physical structure. No, not Mason - the speaker. Cheap looking plastic control panel with a 1975 Commodore calculator red digital display. One lousy cheap plastic Bluetooth speaker with a lousy free gift pair of headphones incorporated into the price of the lousy speaker. I believe not a word any of them say.

We have pretty identical taste in music!

The Bluetooth device is ready to pair. Did I detect a Japanese/Chinese accent?
Got mine off Amazon, was only about £30. Very small but reviews were good (I know you can't always trust them) but it has a very powerful sound. Brand name of Anker, I'd never heard of them.

Hubby bought me a Bose Sound link mini, and it just wouldn't pair with my headphones or turntable, so we sold it.

Of-the-Masons - he's an Anker, and he 'feels' music.

One Christmas Eve I broke down in the snow - I would not like to you - fortunately, I had an 'eye youth removal device in the car.
When I was rescued the next day, not only I was freezing, not only was I hungry and not only shivering, but my laughter lines had faded so much - happy days.
