Not sure the MMR *** was around in the mid 70’s. I definitely had the rubella vaccine. Not sure about measles and mumps jabs. My brother contracted mumps when he was young. Both my kids have had the MMR vaccine

I don't think there were vaccines for measles and mumps when I was young. We had the rubella vaccine at senior school. I got mumps on Christmas day when I was 5.

I didn’t as it hadn’t been invented. Had whooping cough, diphtheria, polio and small pox vaccinations though as a child. Polio one on sugar not introduced until later. I had to have an extra TB one when I was a teenager as a friends father had it.

Explaining the reason for low Duchump price, ie they are using IW for advertising with loss leading prices.

Nah Janice, reason for the prices looking low has nothing to do with advertising, it's all to do with ridiculously high RRPs, which bear no resemblence to the watches actual value, so that big discounts can be given with the intention of misleading buyers into thinking they are getting a luxury watch at a bargain price.

He is the archetypal retail hypocrite. Insincere preaching to his great (10 insomniacs and a tortoise) hard-up army of sad sack ‘followers’ to buy cheap and nasty, and at the same time castigating himself for doing the complete opposite by having a house overflowing with expensive kit. A ridiculous tactic anybody with the remotest of intelligence could see straight through. But you conclude, he genuinely believes he is dealing with a bunch of hapless idiots who’ll literally believe anything he chooses to present as the truth from one shambling show to the next. I would respect him a great deal more if he could just simply detach himself from the process of doing the opposite with every item that he sells by creating some sort of tenuous family connection, and his utter regret and abject foolhardiness for buying the much higher quality, branded version elsewhere. Just present the goods, say what they do, present a good general case for buying at a low price, and leave your completely unnecessary and patronising family collections out of it.

Well, his serving style on Ideal World is very poor. Not very ace at all. Very much part of the sales racket they make. Volleys of empty words that make you want to smash your TV screen when the remote control isn’t there to turn him off. Some people would like to see him in Court One, charged with crimes against broadcasting..Somebody there needs the balls to turn his microphone off when he is droning on relentlessly failing miserably to rally the audience to buy.

He's a few years older then Murray, so would have been in the teenage hopefuls before Murray, can't seem to see anything of note, so just another hopeful with dreams that came to nothing, probably playing around 2000 or just a bit earlier, as a teenager/semi pro.
