It’s probably a press-on back. There might be a small indentation in it - if so you insert a thin, sturdy blade then the back will flip off (careful of fingers). They are the cheapest to make, so I’d be betting that’s what they’ll have used.
In any case - good luck. If I find a mechanism in the workshop I’ll PM you. I did have a few that I’d discarded because it was easier and cheaper just to fit a new one than to service an old one. They don’t have a value, so if I do see one I’ll pm you and you can have it. No promises, because I haven’t looked and it might be a while before I feel up to going in - but if I have one, you can have it.
Thanks, nice offer, but not necessary.

I might play and disassemble. Like Lee Mack on WILTY I might enjoy learning more about watch internals.

I did see this once before a few years ago on a now defunct watch.
Or I'll have a look and try to fix. Not even sure it's a real problem.
Or I'll get my watch repairer friend to take a look. Not important.

This is quite an interesting article. The company is being pulled up for sales practices such as countdown clocks and high demand prompts.

MMmmm. I wonder what other retailers use similar tactics?

Oh dear.. What a sad, very worst of the 1970s’ repartee. Plus a counter full of cheap tat that would struggle at the girl guides’ summer jumble sale…The glue that holds me together….plus the stitches…Best cordless vacuum since the last beat cordless vacuum…Bang my back door….My God - he is a septic tank in desperate need of emptying…

It must Flieday…Friday with a pack of them in it…Something similar to a 19th century perfume bottle.. A piece of £9.99 tat from a Chinese sweat shop they probably bought in bulk and paid pennies for each..You couldn’t make it up…Well, he certainly could. And those nails…Danny La Rue would be jealous. Also love the fact he makes a direct comparison, and then says he’s not making a direct comparison. Four Feather Falls lives…

Just bought some deep heat cream, 100g, for £4. Noticed one of the main ingredients is the same as the emu oil! Makes you wonder if folk are buying expensive cream for £30 when £4 deep heat would do something similar.

Those candles were the same price yesterday, Mason was flogging them 3 for £9.99. Unbelievable levels of BS from Pedro.
