Hope it was designer, award winning plonk.
First layer (sour) grapes.
Hope it was designer, award winning plonk.
I hope they did!Did they say Pervy
I hope they did!
Peter wouldn’t just leave like that.Haha, no (sadly).
Pint Pot read the card included with the plonk, Simon came in, and one everyone was gushing "oh wow, how lovely, how sweet, thank you Peter!". The Aussie shammy guy said he'd learnt so much from Peter, gave Pedro some applause, etc.
Shysters of a feather stick together.
Peter wouldn’t just leave like that.
A crawler more like. Giz a job.Plonk from a Plonker.
Have a Feeling it’s between Nottingham and Peterborough, It’s been touched on it could come from Oundle where Create and Craft is basedWhere is SeenBeforeon TV based? That could sway Pedro jumping ship. He often complains about the journey to London.
Plus, he clearly gets flustered by the TJC approach IW3 uses for presentations. I think he'd prefer the old format where he can walk around, interact with guests, be physical, and generally make himself the centre of attention. As is, trapped solo behind a desk to talk about a solar torch for an indeterminate amount of time until he's told to move on to whatever's just come off the shipping container from China... he struggles.
I would say being made to sell a single item of tat on your own for 90+ minutes is enough to drive anyone crazy, but given we're talking about Pedro here, I think that ship sailed a loooooong time ago!
Would Seen on TV want him? Given how many times ol' Pedro's been mentioned today on the new channel by its presenters, they clearly like/miss him. I imagine he'd be welcomed into the fold…
THAT SAID, he didn't jump to Shop Extra, when he'd have been a logical poach given he was more or less the face of IW. Maybe he wants a bigger fee than the upstart channels can afford? TJC has very deep pockets, and that's where he ended up so…
The political parties missed a trick there. Could have been worth a few votes, at least by us on hereOh gawd. Foghorn first thing in the morning should be a law against her. Is there any proposals for this in any of the party manifestos?
I've switched to Seen on TV, a quieter lady selling sandals. Calmer.
And in Burnley North or whichever constituency Mother Malteser lives in.The political parties missed a trick there. Could have been worth a few votes, at least by us on here
This is where it would be very interesting to see the quantity of stuff they shift.Do we really need another shopping channel selling tat?
IW3, Shop on TV, Seen on TV as well as QVC. They are all aiming at the same retreating target audience, or slightly varying sections of it. Is there a demand for this?
Watched the channel most of the day yesterday, didn’t hear one stock updateThis is where it would be very interesting to see the quantity of stuff they shift.
Ah there's the rub. This is where it would be very interesting to see the quantity of stuff they shift.
Yiannis is selling Curtains, would you risk a shopping channel for something like curtains, especially, If you can’t remove the packagingAh there's the rub.
Fairly obviously, I should imagine the tat items @£9.99 sell in dozens, possibly 100s as they are hardly considered purchases.
The watches? Hard to say but I doubt that they "fly out" as we are so often told. It's interesting that they hardly ever try to sell really expensive models £1K plus any more.
As for Opatra, I reckon they'd struggle to shift more than a couple per hour of the ridiculously expensive devices. In fact it often seems like Natalia is talking to herself. She's certainly in a world of her own. But they persist don't they?
Overall I doubt they are making mega profits, probably breaking even.
"The last in stock" is up there with "someone has made a mistake, the price shouldn't be this low" as one of his go to phrases. Not the fan again, Peter said last week last ever stock
