I assume creating a customer that makes positive statements about a product they are selling, which in turn, encourages genuine buyers to purchase on the strength of it would be an ASA issue?

Indeed. Because they would insist they have a Lee from Ventnor, a Hammy from Aberdeen and a Muttley from Hull. I cannot see the ASA demanding more than just their assurances of that.

Strange how, the heaters sold out in 20 minutes on Friday with Mike and 200 folks missed out, and are selling out again tonight again on a Mason show, yet Joanne and Mark couldn't attract the 200 folks who missed out when they were selling them yesterday.

I was dissapointed that they didn't pad out the text with Hammy ending his walk, saying hello to his Tiffany-style lamp, hanging up his cane in the hallway, and stripping off his cashmere fleece and scarf, before heading to the conservatory for a well-earned rest and reflection on another epic walk. The ceramic heater warms up the room in record time and Hammy, bursting with pride, checks his recently bought Emma and Mike recommended watch...
