There seems to be a lot of older people being diagnosed with autism. I suspect it wasn’t recognised during the 50s & 60s. Hopefully now you’ve been diagnosed it’ll help you.
I know I can be a bit odd, but like they said to me, Don’t change how you are

Dirty Peter has incorrectly said, of BMI, 'Body Mass Indicator' instead of 'Body Mass Index' at least ten times now. Why doesn't anyone in the gallery correct him? Are they also ignorant of this fact, is anyone actually there, or do they just not dare correct him?
If there is actually anyone in the gallery I don't think they know or care what he is saying.
It's like when Torchy does exercise type equipment he calls synovial fluid (the stuff in your joints) cervical fluid.
I sure most of us here, particularly the ladies know that there is a massive difference between the two substances.

If I go to older TV, I tend to go back to Children’s TV Shows from my childhood. I admit I still watch the odd epsiode of Blue Peter the up to date stuff, I know it seems weird me nearly being 50, But got told it’s a common trait, to sometimes feel more child like.

Saying that Blue Peter in 2025 has become so dumbed down and no budget

Emma, I’m 74 and still enjoy occasionally watching Trumpton, Camberwick Green and Bagpuss.

I'm usually the one that doesn't like what everyone is watching😊. And I remember the days before TV remote controls😫
For me Bottom is one of the classics.
I remember back probably late nineteen seventies, we had a Philips colour TV with a cordless remote control.
We used to call it the clicker.
It worked using ultrasonic technology, it had no batteries, just made a mechanical click when pressed which moved up to the next preset station.
There were of course only 3 main ones in those days.

Did Pete really say that his mop at home was a wooden pole with a metal bracket? If it’s what I’m imagining, it would have been last seen being used by a school janitor in the Seventies. Does he really think that we believe a word of this, that after his 30/40/50 years in Shopping Telly he hasn’t managed to by a new mop?

I think so. Even now I can hear the various tunes from n my head. They were very cleverly made long before all the CGI ones made these days.
Yes the majority of kids TV these days is Cartoons and CGI.

Newsround and Blue Peter still get made, Also you have the Dumping Ground, which is from the Tracey Beaker stable
