I did like it when Dougal always called Bishop Brennan Len. I also loved the married couple who used to curse and swear at each other, and we're always sweetness and light in front of the priests. A great series.I like the football episode where Mrs Doyle declares football is "just a load of men kicking a ball about". Father Ted gave her a book called Understanding Football for Women and she and all her cronies become obsessive experts
I always liked Father Jack who just sat in a corner swearing![]()
I did read somewhere that the actor who played Bishop Brennan was walking down the street, and a young child said “Hello Len” to which he replied don’t call me Len in the characters’ voice - he really made the child’s day, and spent time discussing his character. We all have our favourites. I loved both of those shows, also Bottom and the Fast Show. I do also love Dinnerladies, Vicar of Dibley, and Just Good Friends. I can watch all of these shows on repeat, and still find them very funny. A lot of people love Peter Kay, I don't find him funny at all.I must be in the minority here. I detested Father Ted. Wasn’t in the slightest bit funny to me and reminded me of Steptoe & Son which I also hated. Immediate turnoff. Mind you when Stepto was broadcast there was no such thing as a remote control so had to get up and turn a wheel on the tv to change channels.

I never tire of watching Dinnerladies, it's so well written and the casting was excellent. I think it was Maxine Peake's first role just out of drama school. We all have our favourites. I've got a Vileda branded one, it's really good as it gets rid of the excess water quickly. My flat doesn't have a bath but has a wet room (previous tenant had disabilities). So the floor gets very wet after using the shower and it's so easy to dry with this. Two clowns to present a £15 bucket of waterWhere does IW find this cheap tat

Yours will last a lot longer than the one they have been presenting.I've got a Vileda branded one, it's really good as it gets rid of the excess water quickly. But I got mine from Robert Dyas (love that shop), snd spare heads off Amazon.
I’m with you there with Peter Kay. 6 of us were round at a friend’s house for dinner and afterwards she announced that Peter Kay was on the TV. Her and 3 friends were creased up laughing, myself and another couldn’t even raise a smile. I’ve never watched such a lot of tosh ever. Still I suppose humour is different to everyone. We all have our favourites. I loved both of those shows, also Bottom and the Fast Show. Yes, it's really sturdy, and the mop head goes in the washing machine, and can be replaced if needed.Yours will last a lot longer than the one they have been presenting.
There seems to be a lot of older people being diagnosed with autism. I suspect it wasn’t recognised during the 50s & 60s. Hopefully now you’ve been diagnosed it’ll help you.Yes even though it’s something else to add to list, got told I’ve probably had Autism since I was born annoying it hadn’t been picked up on
