Before the show, Janice said if were taking this to air we ain't doing the £1749.99 price and asked Max the producer to give us a bargain price, which Max duly did.

Brilliant, fantastic, awesome job IW.

But wait, a quick search of TJC this morning shows the watch at £999.99 with a 20% discount code, that's £180 cheaper than IW's "bargain" price, that's a £930 price reduction that happened after the IW bargain show.

So what happened to IW being the bargain channel with bargain prices?

Did they manipulate the TJC price just while the IW show was on to make the IW price look good?

They can't claim it's the channel/home of the bargain.

As we know, the products they sell can frequently be found cheaper elsewhere, sometimes considerably so. And even if not a direct comparison (they do it so why can't we?) if they're selling something like an air fryer for £90, you'll find a similarly spec'd one for £40. And Hammy frequently highlights watches cheaper elsewhere.

So, home of the bargain? Nope. And that's being nothing more than factual.

I was watching that watch show live as it happens.
The gold weight was stated as being 11.8 grams.
A quick check on the Internet shows scrap 9ct gold worth about £20 a gram.
So add in a cheap movement, after all no second hand or date function, even taking vat into account why £1750 or even £1000?
Not a particularly nice looking watch or looking like it has been well crafted, where is the value?

It's hard to imagine that it is only five years ago that everyones lives were turned upside-down almost overnight.
Lets hope that such events never happen again and similar containment policies are not needed.
As for Sally, if you didn't know, I think it would be hard to believe that they are the same person.
