Every watch show is the same. We only have a handful, there are people with them in their baskets, almost two hours of waffle, we thought we had sold them out. Yet, at the end of each show, they still have them in all colours. Expect to see them in the coming days, bounce backs no doubt. I don't know why they bother, only Trev is buying them, and that is in their imagination.

No surprise they still have them in all colours - even if for some reason somebody wanted to buy one, there was a whole lot of incomprehensible waffling about 'Hash" from Pedro.

"If you want the gold, it's Hash Three.....is it?......Hash Four for the gold, Hash one for the silver.......Hash two for the Rose gold,.....Hash three for the gold.........Corned Beef Hash after your collagen.......Hash 89 for the walking cane......Hash a bye".

A couple of times I flicked over and he was still blethering about Hash this and Hash that, was David multi-buying, cabochon crown.
You have to wonder if they sell a single watch in response to that hour of waffling.

Thomas Tompion has been dead for over 300 years. There's zero connection between him and these cheap, nasty watches. He'll be turning in his grave.

To be honest, depending on how tenuous the connection is between the current brand/products and the original, I think it's verging on insulting their memory. Imagine these genuine artisans knowing that, decades/centuries down the line, their brand name would be assigned to products that are often inferior ... and sold by muppets.

But wait, a quick search of TJC this morning shows the watch at £999.99 with a 20% discount code, that's £180 cheaper than IW's "bargain" price, that's a £930 price reduction that happened after the IW bargain show.
