You have to watch it from the start to understand each character. I love it, and was emotional at the ending. So Gavin and Stacey received record figures, but as a viewer who had never watched it until last night, I didn’t get the hype.
I got into it after it's initial success and binge watched it on the BBC Iplayer. Takes a while to get to know the characters, it would be difficult to get it if you've not seen it. For example Dawn and Pete who were separated, then got back together, they were always arguing throughout. I thought it was good, particularly the stag do where they found out all their old haunts were gone, and some left early. It made Smithy feel old.So Gavin and Stacey received record figures, but as a viewer who had never watched it until last night, I didn’t get the hype.
I have watched every episode and all my family love it. I have to say lasts night episode was okay but not a patch on the first series. In my humble opinion the first series and the first Christmas special is superb. Have a watch. You beat me to it. The ending was emotional, and the wedding was so much simpler than the planned wedding. And it's probably for the best that we didn't find out what happened on the infamous fishing trip. It brought the storyline to a conclusion which was good. And I liked when Pam was explaining her plans when Mick dies, and he was sat there listeningYou have to watch it from the start to understand each character. If you watched the previous Christmas episode from 2019, she was far from lovely, that's why nobody wanted Smithy to marry her.As a first time viewer, I just felt sorry for the lovely young lady, who Smithy didn’t marry at the end she never even got a explanation
We get our gas and electricity from them. Good old Chubby, from my hometown, I know he is an acquired taste, but I think he's hilarious.Pedro - Eon watch never need servicing and do not need a battery.
That's a load of absolute crap and as chubby brown would say, who the F*ck is Eon.

He is a real gentleman when you meet him. I have seen him shopping in Morrisons at Teesside Park a few times, and he always says hello ladies, and will hold a door open for you.Agree, didn't realise he's 80 in a couple of months.

I was very lucky to see him perform A Christmas Carol in the West End, too many years ago to count. He was amazing.I listened to the audiobook of A Christmas Carol this evening, Patrick Stewart was doing all the voices, I really enjoyed it. I often can't find anything to watch on TV so I read a lot and have background music.
Wow, that must have been brilliant! Terrific character actor.I was very lucky to see him perform A Christmas Carol in the West End, too many years ago to count. He was amazing.
