The karaoke machine, last night Pedro had no idea how to sell it
When you listen to QVC. You hear them talk about, program planning, I guess at IW that doesn’t exist
I guess with QVC they're confident in their products, and confident that they won't malfunction — or as Mike calls it, become a 'non working sample' – on air
Plus, all the super-star presenters at Ideal World have FAR better things to do than learn about a product they're selling…
- Mike's got HUNDREDS of emails to answer daily
- Sally's got a camera crew following her to record how humble, unassuming, and charitable she is
- Jannis needs to go to the gym, blessing the public's eyes with his plastic abs
- Gen needs to charge and reprogram Peter Vollabot for his next role every few hours
- Natalia can only be out of water for a short while or she dries out
And Pedro? By they time he's stepped off of standing, sitting, and leaning on his Vibroplate, unclipped the ab toner belt, peeled the Opatra mask off, eaten a bowl full of collagen gummies, smeared Emu Balm on his parsnips (don't, at home), and gotten his lips round Our Bet …to inflate her… there's only so much time in the day. No wonder he comes to work with a folding walking cane, ok.
But to be serious, QVC clearly want people to not only (lol) buy the product, to not only like it, but also trust the channel. That means not over promising or exaggerating what something can do.
IW? Well they don't care if you like it, if it's 'every bit as good as I say it is', or if it even works. Because once someone's opened it… they aren't going to be allowed to send it back.
