He gave his expert scientific spiel as to why it's only uses 60w of power, bladeless fan, sucks air in from back, blah blah, utter irrelevant rubbish.

For some strange reason they seem to be inferring that 60w is really, really, really low for a fan, which it really, really, really isn't, and that fans normally run at 500w and above, one show i remember Joanne saying that fans usually run at 2000w and Peter said tonight we both had fans in the thousands of watts :eek::ROFLMAO:, again that's absolute ******* rubbish, most fans run at very, very low wattage, heck the powerful boneco air shower fans that IW used to sell all the time were only 33w. What the numpties are comparing is wattage of these fans with the wattage of fan heaters, which can be used either as a cooling fan or heater, of course in heating mode they use the high wattage but if just used in fan mode without heater it will use very low power wattage.

using this "sales" tactic for the past twenty years. It would be one thing if he only claimed this every few weeks or something, but it feels like it happens on every shift. Also, does he not realize how inept and useless it makes the backstage crew/gallery/whoever look, by making they can't even input a price correctly? Just makes the whole thing look unprofessional.

I watched a fair bit of Joanne on Friday night and she was real entertaining. Imagine my disappoint when I switch on not long after 22:00 last night to watch her again, only to be greeted my Peter Ventriloquist Dummy talking about fans. The channel was changed pronto.

I'm not being funny but can you please BACK OFF!

IW presenters are very clued up on science and tech. Do none of you remember Deeeeeeennice saying this about the thermostat on one of the radiators they were selling:

And unlike other thermostats, this one senses the temperature from all four corners of the room.
