No please don’t go back to Create and Craft. I’ve done all sorts of handicrafts over the years and do watch C&C quite a lot. He was so boring, he gave the reason he was leaving as he wanted to spend more time with his family. Perhaps he lives nearer to IW studio but at least with C&C their live broadcast ends at 10pm.
Poor Yiannis, too boring even for Create & Craft.

I thought the grey ladies on there rather liked him especially when he wore his woolen jumpers. Compared to the other male presenters he was almost hunky. Well, as hunky as you can get when crafting.

Where will his talents take him next?

You lot can laugh and poke fun all you like, however I've bought the foldable spade to dig holes for my 'flamingo power Britain' scheme.

I've also bought the pro drone to record my endeavours.

And a Nubeo watch to keep me on time.

And the bubble gun toy to celebrate with bubbles after every 1000 flamingos installed.

And one of their air fryers to cook my food.

And the red light mask thing to keep me looking good for any tv interviews.

And the red light hand mitts to refresh my tired hands.

And Gammon scent to keep me smelling ok.

So yeah, make fun ...

:)
Did you also buy the felt tip pens to create exclusive art in your spare time? Or the cane to keep you steady while walking? No? You probably missed out on the canes because they didn't show them much🙄😂😂😂

Has anybody actually bought anything from the new IW3?

Specifically, how is it packaged? Does it have IW logo on box or on the packing tape? Or plain box/wrapping.

Because TJC often has TJC logo on box, packing tape, so I wonder if/where IW items are dispatched from same or different TJC warehouse and is there a separate IW dispatch line somewhere?
If plain box/tape, they can fulfil using the existing TJC lines at Feltham?

(I haven't, whereas I did buy a few items from old IW.)
There are three main reasons why I chose to buy from a retailer: good reputation as a seller, and quality and competitively priced goods. In fact, I would rather pay more for something sold by a seller I trust than to buy anything cheaper from one I don’t.

I’ve watched this new version of an old name since it crawled out from under its selling stone last August. I have genuinely yet to see a single item that I would ever consider buying. Nothing of any note or good quality to my views on the term at all. And if they do finally show something I might want, I would never buy from a channel that employs all the questionable selling techniques (the ones we have discussed here at length) they do. I would rather let Chef Mark boil my own eyeballs, or more realistically… pay more elsewhere.

I haven't seen much of him on IW but he doesn't have me shouting at the TV screen within 20 seconds like some of the other presenters do. So that's a point in his favour.

I did buy the pens to sign autographs as I'll almost certainly become more and more famous as I work my way around the coastline.

I forgot to mention I also bought the record player to play motivational music for those times when I'm feeling tired and worn out.

Great reply. When channel hopping last night I think IW was selling a watch. I can recall thinking even if it was a genuine tier one brand at a great price, I wouldn't buy the watch from them even if I wanted it. Why? Due to the points you make. I don't want to buy anything of actual quality from an establishment (selly telly or otherwise) that exudes anything but quality.

A presenter flogging a £9.99 piece of tat one minute and then the next, putting on the faux sincere voice to sell something of 'quality.' No thanks.

When you're rich and famous please don't forget your friends on here. We can say we knew Cheeky Chappie before IW made him famous😁

tbh I probably will become rich. I'm being told a LOT of money will almost certainly come in via donations to the cause. This will ALL be used for good causes. For example I'll need a few 5 bed mansions dotted around the coast, purely to ensure I can monitor the flamingo's to ensure they keep on spinning. And a Ferrari to move from mansion to mansion. And a private jet for those times when I urgently need to get from one end of the UK to the other to repair a flamingo.

Don't worry, I won't forget any of you. You won't hear from me again as you'll be too small time for me, however I won't forget you ...

;)

Jez Says:

Take your drone on holiday so you can annoy everybody on the beach as it flies over their heads taking blocky pictures for you to paw over later.

A most annoying suggestion from a most annoying presenter.
I spent a week in jail for doing something similar. How the heck was I to know my neighbour would be sunbathing topless?!?

I thought he'd gone back to selling encyclopedias - badly.

Not seen these E88 drone slots on IW3 yet, but probably because nobody competent or willing there to try flying it in the studio 'live'.
Can't see PS having the tech, know-how or physical hand-eye capability to fly one.
Heaven forbid one of the presenters, prepares, trains and actively engaged with the product to demo and sell it with skill.

I had seen the E88 model for about ,£13-25 quid on Ali/eBay type sites, so £30 is a bit pricey from IW3, but not unreasonable. For £20 I'd jump with free p&p, but not at their rates.
There's no 'drone phone, phone drone' at least Richard is competent in his selling patter, even if he does over egg the pudding. Haven't seen any of the IW drone sessions but will have to have a look

I have bought a couple of items because they were not available anywhere else at the price, but I don't like to buy things if I can avoid it because e,g those memory stick pens, they were charging P&P for 2 pens. Yet previous to that they were selling 2 pens together (and the 1 P&P) so their system can more often than not, shaft you with P&P. What I ordered came in a plain box but the returns sheet/invoice had the IW logo on it but nothing else from what I can remember

The stuff has to be delivered in plain packaging as it's almost as embarrassing being a recipient of IW products as being a recipient of 'adult goods' which are also typically sent in plain packaging ... so I'm told!
