I didn’t think it had any?
Yes. I would. Same as Jeremy Brett was the optimum Sherlock Holmes set in The Victorian era. And Robin of Sherwood was the best Robin Hood series though I have a soft spot for Richard Greene. And Jon Pertwee's Worzel Gummige (now shown with a "PG" rating on TPTV). Modern remakes don't usually work for original viewers of a classic series. I accept it's an age / generation thing. You would hate this new series then
They are preparing us for global warming none too gently. They have our best interests at heart (!).What is this channel's obsession with fans? Every day it's a different model, and each one is the best they've ever seen. Makes a change from vacuum cleaners I suppose.
Well if we are really going back I loved grumpy old William Hartnell and had a crush on Wendy Padbury...Jim Reeves, Perry Como, Nat K
Patrick Troughton for me. Followed closely by Jon Pertwee. Unwatchable for me today. Like so much of mainstream television.
I'd never heard of her. But I can see why you had a crush on herWell if we are really going back I loved grumpy old William Hartnell and had a crush on Wendy Padbury...
My she was lovely and I'm glad to say still is.I'd never heard of her. But I can see why you had a crush on her
Romana (Mary Tamm RIP) was gorgeous too. No tattoos or face jewellery, no feminist agenda just natural beautyI'd never heard of her. But I can see why you had a crush on her
I was a very big fan of the original Poldark, 1975 with Robin Ellis and Angharad Rees, didn't care for the remake.Yes. I would. I'm also doing a re watch. I started watching on Britbox but switched to iPlayer now that all the episodes are on there. I'm currently on Trial of a Timelord. I met Colin Baker last year. Lovely man.I enjoyed as I don’t really remember it before it came back in 2005
If memory serves me right she either won or came second in a talent show with weekly eliminations. Think Keith Fordyce was the hostWasn’t she married to Melvyn Hughes from “It ain’t half hot”
I chose not to watch the newer version, the original was so brilliant. I'm sure I've got it on DVD, must watch it again.I was a very big fan of the original Poldark, 1975 with Robin Ellis and Angharad Rees, didn't care for the remake.
