Nicce t-shirts again, must be really struggling to shift them. I wonder who they have bought all this end of line Nicce stuff from. It is normally M & M Direct that buy it direct from the companies.

Lots of buyers coming in, must be lots of stupid people around then, wanting to buy these cheap looking and highly overpriced boxer shorts.

Saw a pigeon couple toddling along a fence earlier. I couldn't help but imagine their conversation

of course but it is valid and not a lie

IMO, especially in regards to watch shows on IW.

A lie? Technically maybe not, but certainly not valid when retailers know that the RRP on the brand's web site has been set ridiculously high so retailers can offer huge discounts as part of their sales/marketing strategy (Resultco watch brands openly admit this is their strategy). The fair and valid comparison is to have price comparisons with other retailers that IW are in direct competition with, not some fantasy RRP on the Brand's web site.

Decent brands have RRPs that won't be far off what the final retail price is, maybe a discount of 10-20% through retailors, and on very odd occassion you may pick up a bigger discounts, end of line/stock clearance/loss leader in a sale etc.

Shyster brands have RRPs that allow for discounts 50-80% on a regular daily basis as part of a conning the public strategy.

Shyster brands and IW go hand in hand, play from the same script, made in hell for each other. Both hope the strategy will pay dividends in sales, the brands hope they attract the ultra gullible to their web site, and through IW attract your average gullible/village idiot from the general public, IW well they just hope they attract and con any poor unfortunate out there who is tunning into the selly telly world.:)

They do use sourced direct comparisons, but as has been said, these almost uniformly are RRPs from manufacturers’ websites with said RRPs that shall we say, you doubt are serious selling routes for those products.

I hope to see one day soon, the watchdog of this and other shopping channels using them, ban the use of unsourced price comparisons. It is a completely disingenuous and sharp practice, designed to mislead often vulnerable shoppers who don’t have the resources to check prices in general. Any presenter that goes with them is equally culpable in that misleading in my view, and as a group they should hang their collective heads in shame. A truly sickening strategy and one in fairness, the run by adults former versions of Ideal World never employed.

There is clearly a lack of maturity issue in who is actually running the output of this channel on a daily basis. Introducing that wretched system of misleading price comparisons is just another symptom of appointing very immature toddlers to do adult jobs.

Nah, I'm sure the true story is they managed 'to get more stock into the business and loaded into the system' ;)
