I've just had a quick look on qvc.com. Lovely things. Does anyone know why we can't have the stuff that they do?

I can't see why not either.

The only thing that did occur to me is that products might be cheaper

i think it is because QVC UK is just plain mean and nasty! they have way better stuff in the US and so much more choice in the stuff we do get lol

I don't!

Someone I know has just gone to the US for a year .... they owe me big time ... hmmmm

I watched the Tarte cosmetics show on QVC US earlier this evening and was interested in the Maracuja Oil which is currently sold exclusively through QVC US until 21/12/11 and costs $46. Then I found a UK company selling the same thing (i.e. pure maracuja oil from the Amazon and the same amount) for £4.25. Reader, I ordered it.

Often wondered why QVC UK don't stock Clinique when the US one does.

Speaking of which, do they have their own "resident beauty expert"?

No resident beauty expert but I think one presenter does the beauty shows alot.

Blame Estee Lauder Clinique is one of their companies and as is Bobbi Brown, Origins etc. But we get the stuff at the same price as you buy on counter appart from the odd kit. :taphead: They decide if a company is allowed to come to QVC. Bobbi Brown herself appears on QVC US never came here even when she has been in the country and touring the department stores doing makeup events.

Hell QVC US sold Laura Mercier and Nars for a while Makeupforever too. Its the companies themselves who decide if they want to sell on QVC US or UK.

Other brands none cosmetics again its up them. Come over here we don't bite!:giggle:
