I have just had an email from QVC asking me to complete a survey.

Can anyone see what is wrong with the greeting?

This show that they just don't really give a stuff for the and they don't even use your name. Needless to say my response to them made it clear where they can stick their survey.

Awful, especially in a time when women can easily be objectified. I would write a complaint to Customer Services! If I'd had that letter it would read 'extra large' - and I would be livid. Not just lack of respect but downright rudeness.

Is it a genuine email from Q ? The only reason I ask is that someone on their fb page who got the same email is querying whether Q actually sent it.

Yes it is as I have tracked back with the send address, i also replied to the email and as I have mail track it showed who read my response and that was QVC.

I've had one too but they have addrressed me as "Hello Heavy (Qty 50+)":mysmilie_51: I am heavy and I am (just) 50+ but I don't need to be reminded thank you!! Am I insulted - yes very :mysmilie_51:

Send it to the papers, the media love a good 'being insulted' story - only this time its not about colour or religion, its about clothing size. They'll love it !!!! AND it will bring QVC into disrepute - that'll take the smirk off old Flinty's face !

When they do reply (at least 72 hours which is ridiculous in this day and age) they will have the gall to finish their reply with a kiss! Maybe it's an age thing but that is the most unprofessional thing I have ever come across.

Well I've posted an image of the email on the QVCUK twitter page, hopefully a great deal of their 'valued' customers will see it.

Surely that's just an error on the automated fill fields for the email. Some silly bugga has put the generic information about the clothes you order where the name ought to be. A stupid mistake but I can't see that being intentional.

This is one of the problems that occurs when teenagers are left to run the tech end of a business and don't actually bother to check any of the central computer's output before thousands get to see it.

I am actually quite shocked. It's such a simple thing to get right, and annoying customers is not the best way to cajole them into spending more. Or help them find out what customers really want to buy clothes-wise

Especially since there are so many more competitively priced places to buy from

That's an unusual surname Medium, is it Spanish? :mysmilie_3:
