QVC - Easy pay credit check?

I've never used QVC before but I saw an item I'm interested in that offered easy pay. I looked into the terms and conditions of easy pay but I couldn't find much information. I was looking as to whether credit checks are made when paying with easy pay and it seems like they don't. I'm wondering what checks are made, there have to be some?

The reason I ask is because in the past my credit history has not been great and I do have CCJ's but now I'm in a much better financial situation and in a position to have things on credit in a responsible way

I'm just wondering how likely it is that I'll be declined for easy pay based on my past credit history

There is no credit check for easy pay with QVC UK. That is why the max they offer is up to 4. In the US it is different hence QVC in the US have 5 or 6 easy pay offers. The credit rules in the UK are different so it is 4, if QVC UK did increase the easy to 5 or 6 then they would have to do a credit check.

Thanks for confirming. I saw a post on here a couple of years back that said they were refused quick pay based on a credit check which I thought was strange because you do have to give companies permission to do a credit check

I guess I will wait and see. I have placed my order on the phone this morning but they haven't taken the funds out of my account yet for the first payment. I was told 'security checks' would be carrier out, not sure what type of checks these will be. Maybe to make sure I'm at the address I say I am etc
