I've read on here about some people receiving items that are obviously returns. Up to now I haven't had that problem, but yesterday I received my Gatineau order and the eye cream box wasn't in cellophane wrapping like the serum it came with, there was no instruction leaflet (as there was in the other one) and when I took the lid off there was a trace of eye cream around the nozzle! So I got on straight away to CS who are going to send out a pre paid label and said that when they receive the product back they will send out another one.
But what made things very strange was that I undid the cellophane wrapping on the serum and tried to dispense some in my hand. I got a tiny bit out, but that was it, no more! I know it takes a while for a product to reach the top of the bottle, so I pressed and pressed and pressed, but still nothing. Yet this serum was cellophane wrapped!
I will now have to make a comment on the letter when I send these back and say I don't want a replacment, as I don't want to find the same thing again.
Has anyone found this kind of thing before? The serum obviously hadn't been used before as it was wrapped, would it have dried up if it was old? :wonder:
