Caught some of the Charlie bears repeat show this morning , and once again Charlie ordered an item using his Ipad , that bear then sold out , if I was tuning in and wanted to buy that bear id be furious as it wasn't even a new bear so why the heck didn't he order it before, He seems the kind of person that would have looked at all the bears before the show so surely he knew then if he wanted it or not.

I saw that too Autumn and was disgusted. I felt he was so clever and glib when 'tapping the app' to get his bear, it should not be allowed. He knows what is coming up so why did he not order it before the show. The presenters should be stopped from doing this.

I imagine they're encouraged to do it to promote sales. It's pathetically transparent. They obviously take us all for idiots.

I agree however I think its pretty mean to have the show repeated throughout the night and early morning. Some poor person who either couldn't stay up till 12 or had been at work may well have tuned in and wanted to buy that bear, and instead they get to see Charlie's smug face tapping the app and then the bear selling it out.

Whilst I have no problem with how, why or when a presenter places an order, I concur 100%, and have said it in other posts, the Q does assume we all came down in the last shower. It is a fundamental insult to our intelligence.

Personally, I think it's unprofessional for any presenter to be ordering on their iPads during the time that they're being paid to present the items. It's as bad as people starting a phone conversation on their mobile, when you're actually talking to them in person, or shop assistants talking to each other when you're waiting to be served. If the presenters want an item they should buy it in their own time ...... not in ours.

Can you imagine if a presenter said, "Excuse me I'm just going onto my iPad because I forgot to pay my gas bill. There would be outrage. However a mysterious tolerance seems to be made of more than one presenter purchasing items they will have had access to before going live on air. It smacks of a feeble ploy from a large corporate hoping we'll all follow like sheep. I'm sure the viewing public have more intelligence than QVC would care to acknowledge. If we all raised complaints about it they may get the message.

I saw that too & was pretty disgusted by it. Especially considering that the bear sold out immediately after he said his pad was showing the thank you for your order notification AND doubly so by the fact that, all the time he was going through the ordering process, William was telling him that he didn't need to do that as he could have the one he was using to demonstrate. I did get the impression that Will wasn't comfortable with what he was doing.

To me Will didn't seem impressed by Charlie doing it , and tbh Charlie showed a lack of respect to Will by sitting there glued to his ipad ordering rather than talking to will and demonstrating the bear like hes paid to do.
